Messe Stuttgart India MD & CEO, Sachin Patil passes away following cardiac arrest
It is with profound sorrow that we inform the sudden passing of Sachin Patil, the renowned Managing Director and CEO of Messe Stuttgart, on the morning of May 21st at his home in Noida. He succumbed to a cardiac arrest at 6 am and he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Sachin Patil was not even 40 years old, making his untimely demise particularly tragic. His family is expected to arrive from Maharashtra by this evening to join in mourning.
In October 2023, Messe Stuttgart India, a subsidiary of Landesmesse Stuttgart, appointed Sachin Patil as its Managing Director and CEO. Mr Patil has a successful career spanning more than 18 years. He contributed a wealth of knowledge, strategic acumen, and an innovative attitude to his leadership position.
Mr Patil had a long and significant relationship with Messe Stuttgart. He demonstrated his dynamic leadership and capacity for leading transformative projects while serving as the official representative in India prior to being appointed as MD and CEO. He obtained his post-graduate diploma in tourism and leisure, with a focus on events management at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management in New Delhi
Mr Patil was well-known for his innovative approach to the trade shows and exhibitions industry. His creative ideas and strategic thinking were essential to the expansion of Messe Stuttgart India and established the company as a pioneer in the Indian exhibition industry. His steadfast devotion to quality and his enthusiasm for promoting global partnerships were important contributors to the success of the various events held at Messe Stuttgart India.
The passing of Mr Patil is a significant loss to the industry and all who had the privilege of working with him.
