Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) marked a significant milestone with the flag-off of the inaugural dispatch of refinery equipment to the Mongol Refinery in Mongolia. The ceremony took place on November 21, 2024, at MEIL’s advanced manufacturing facility in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad.
Dr Altantsetseg Dashdavaa, CEO of Mongol Refinery, along with other Mongol Refinery officials and Mr Vikalp Paliwal, General Manager of Engineers India Limited (EIL), attended the inaugural dispatch ceremony of refinery equipment. This milestone marks the start of a vital phase in the Mongol Refinery project, highlighting the strong collaboration between India and Mongolia. The initiative reflects the shared dedication of both governments to advancing economic development and energy security in Mongolia, with strong support from the Government of India.
On this occasion, Dr. Dashdavaa expressed her pride in the project, stating, “The partnership between the governments of India and Mongolia is strengthening bilateral relations. I am impressed by the outstanding work done by Megha Engineering Company. It is an honor to be part of the inaugural dispatch of the pressure vessel to the Mongol Refinery. This refinery represents Mongolia’s first-ever oil refinery, and MEIL’s involvement in executing three of the four project packages demonstrates their expertise and use of advanced technologies. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Government of India, EIL, and MEIL for their contributions to this landmark project for Mongolia.”
MEIL Director P. Doraiah also shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We are proud to begin the first dispatch of refinery equipment to Mongolia. Our skilled and dedicated team is committed to executing this key project, overcoming all challenges faced in Mongolia.”
