Manufacturing Corporation of America (MCA) has announced the acquisition of TRUKD, a premium American manufacturer of modular stainless-steel truck bed rack systems designed for outdoor enthusiasts and skilled trades professionals. The move strengthens MCA’s strategy of building an integrated, U.S.-based manufacturing ecosystem that combines brand ownership with advanced production capabilities.

Under the new structure, TRUKD will operate within MCA’s Metal One Fabrication facility, creating a fully integrated model that unites product design, engineering, fabrication, finishing, and order fulfillment in a single location. This approach enhances production efficiency, shortens development timelines, and strengthens supply chain stability while supporting skilled manufacturing jobs in the United States.

Fritz O’Connor, CEO of MCA, said the acquisition reflects the company’s commitment to investing in American product manufacturers with strong growth potential. He noted that integrating TRUKD into MCA’s manufacturing infrastructure will enable faster innovation cycles, improved operational resilience, and scalable expansion.

Founded on principles of continuous improvement and customer-focused design, TRUKD has developed a strong reputation for its modular rack systems built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its products are engineered to work seamlessly with tonneau truck bed covers and toppers, allowing customers to maintain secure storage while utilising full-height racks — a feature that differentiates the brand in a competitive market.

Ben Azzam, President of TRUKD, stated that the partnership enhances the company’s ability to compete with larger industry players by leveraging expanded production capacity, streamlined processes, and reduced lead times. He added that the integration will accelerate product development, enabling prototypes to move from concept to production in days rather than weeks.

TRUKD has experienced near 100 percent year-over-year growth, and the acquisition allows the company to scale operations rapidly without building manufacturing capabilities from the ground up. By tapping into MCA’s established facilities, lean processes, and skilled workforce, TRUKD is positioned to increase output while maintaining quality standards.

MCA’s portfolio includes Boss Lighting, Metal One Fabrication, TRUKD, Uniforce Composites, Uniforce Plastics, and Uniforce Technologies. Through strategic acquisitions, the company aims to preserve legacy industrial expertise while driving innovation and strengthening the long-term competitiveness of American manufacturing.
