MBT Construction Chemicals, a leading provider of advanced construction solutions under the Master Builders Solutions Group, has inaugurated its new world-class manufacturing facility in Taloja, Navi Mumbai. The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr Boris Gorella, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management at Master Builders Solutions, along with Dr Karsten Eller, COO, and Himanshu Kapadia, Cluster Head for Asia, the Middle East, and Turkey.
The plant has an annual production capacity of 25,000 metric tons per shift and a storage capability of 300 tons, enabling the company to meet the growing demand of India’s construction sector. The facility will produce a wide portfolio of high-performance construction chemicals, including concrete admixtures, waterproofing systems, grouts, flooring solutions, repair mortars, and protective coatings.
Covering 4,000 square metres, the fully automated facility integrates advanced systems, including a 200 TR cooling tower for improved energy efficiency and process stability. Built to meet the highest operational standards, it reflects MBT Construction Chemicals’ commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation.
Alongside its manufacturing capabilities, the site includes a dedicated Research & Development Centre, equipped with advanced laboratories and testing facilities. This hub will drive product innovation tailored to Indian market requirements, support regional product customisation, and strengthen collaboration with customers to deliver performance-focused, sustainable solutions.
