AXISCADES Aerospace Technologies (AXISCADES) has been a key partner to MBDA, executing built-to-spec and built-to-print assignments for Test Benches. Over the years, AXISCADES has successfully delivered multiple generations of Test Solutions for MBDA’s MICA Missiles and Missile Launchers, while also providing Depot Level Maintenance for these systems.
For the past decade, AXISCADES has been MBDA’s primary Indian Offset Partner. Moving forward, MBDA will continue to depend on AXISCADES for the supply of high-quality, cost-effective products and services, particularly as MBDA’s global operations continue to expand. Both companies anticipate an increase in the volume of sourcing for these products and services in the years ahead.
MBDA and AXISCADES have agreed to broaden their areas of collaboration. AXISCADES, already a trusted provider of high-end engineering services to top aerospace OEMs and a supplier to the Indian Ministry of Defence, will explore ways to apply its expertise to further benefit MBDA. The collaboration will also contribute to the growth of MBDA’s industrial presence in India, aligning with the Indian Government’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliance) initiative. Following discussions between Eric Béranger and Dr Sampath Ravinarayanan, working groups have been set up to identify new opportunities for cooperation and their implementation.
AXISCADES has established the necessary infrastructure, tools, processes, and resources to support MBDA’s requirements. To elevate the collaboration, AXISCADES will open a dedicated facility at its new Aerospace Park near Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. This state-of-the-art facility will house a Test Bench laboratory, Missile Launcher setups, equipment, instruments, and skilled personnel. Both companies are committed to structuring the partnership in a way that ensures long-term benefits for both parties.
