mayr power transmission, a leading global manufacturer of safety brakes, torque limiters, and shaft couplings, is all set to bring insights with its webinars on torque limiters and safety starting from 14 October 2020. The central part of the mayr® power transmission company philosophy is to make the movement of machines and systems safe. This aspect is expressed in the company’s recent web seminar series as well.
“We have additionally developed our proven seminars in our new training center ‘mayr.com’ and we offer now web seminars on the fundamentals of safety clutch and safety brake technology and web seminars at expert level on selected specialist topics,” said Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Biechele, training coordinator at mayr® power transmission in Mauerstetten. “The first webinars already took place in July and the response was excellent. That's why we decided to expand the range of courses on offer."
From the fall of 2020, new online occasions on assigned specialist themes such as the numerous components impacting on the braking torque, the several alternatives for electrical control and sensorless monitoring of brakes, and the governing principle of accomplishing a high balance quality in shaft couplings and torque limiters. At the end of each demonstration and presentation selected participant questions will be countered.

Benedikt Biechele added "We developed the webinars independently of the Corona pandemic as an alternative to on-site seminars to provide our customers and employees worldwide with easier and more flexible access to our training and information offerings. The web seminars are intended for specialists and managers, designers, developers, and safety officers from the mechanical engineering industry and are held in English and German.
