Marzocchi Pompe SpA. (EGM: MARP), a manufacturer of high-performance gear pumps and motors, is strengthening its presence in India following the establishment of Marzocchi Pumps India Private Limited, a joint venture with its long-standing Indian business partner Dantal Hydraulics Private Limited. Marzocchi Pompe is participating in Bauma CONEXPO INDIA, being held from September 15 to 18 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. The company is using the event to meet customers and industry professionals, showcase its portfolio and explore opportunities in the Indian construction machinery and hydraulics market.

Marzocchi Pompe holds a 45% stake in the new joint venture, while Dantal Hydraulics owns the remaining 55%. The partnership is intended to expand the Italian company’s commercial presence in India by combining its product and technology capabilities with Dantal Hydraulics’ knowledge of the local market.

At Bauma CONEXPO INDIA, Marzocchi Pompe is displaying its range of gear pumps and motors for industrial, mobile and automotive applications. The company is also presenting developments in its Elika family, including a new reversible version covered by an industrial patent granted by the Italian Patent and Trademark Office of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

Gabriele Bonfiglioli, CEO of Marzocchi Pompe, said, “We are returning to Bauma CONEXPO INDIA at a key stage in the development of our business in India. The establishment of Marzocchi Pumps India in April allows us to expand our commercial footprint and work even more closely with customers and industry professionals in a market we consider strategic to Marzocchi Pompe’s future development.”

He added that the joint venture provides a platform for the company to pursue opportunities in India and strengthen relationships with local customers as part of its international growth strategy. The company’s gear pumps and motors are used across a range of applications, including industrial machinery, mobile equipment and automotive systems. Its portfolio is designed to address different hydraulic requirements and applications.

Founded in 1949, Marzocchi Pompe is majority-owned by the Marzocchi family, with Paolo Marzocchi serving as Chairman and Carlo Marzocchi as Vice Chairman. CEO Gabriele Bonfiglioli is also a shareholder. Marzocchi Pompe manufactures its products entirely in Italy at its facilities in Casalecchio di Reno and Zola Predosa, both in the Bologna area.

The company supplies customers in more than 50 countries through its international distribution network. The establishment of Marzocchi Pumps India adds a local commercial platform to this network and is expected to support the company’s engagement with customers across India’s growing construction equipment and industrial sectors.
