Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced enhancements to its warranty programs for all vehicles, effective immediately. The standard warranty, which was previously two years or 40,000 km, is now extended to three years or 1,00,000 km (whichever comes first).
This new warranty covers the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical systems, and air conditioning, excluding consumables. Maruti Suzuki has also expanded the extended warranty coverage for 11 high-value parts that were previously only covered under the standard warranty.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced three extended warranty packages. The Platinum Package extends coverage to the fifth year or 140,000 km. The Solitaire Package provides the longest coverage, up to the sixth year or 160,000 km. These packages now include 11 high-value parts that were previously only covered under the standard warranty.
“We have enhanced our standard warranty to three years or 1,00,000 km to provide greater value to our customers.” said Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, MSIL. “We have introduced extended warranty packages for up to six years or 160,000 km and revised the scope of the fourth and fifth-year extended warranty packages. This will offer our customers added convenience and peace of mind, enhancing their overall ownership experience.”
These updated warranty packages aim to provide customers with added convenience and peace of mind. Customers will have access to free repairs at any Maruti Suzuki authorized service center across the country throughout the warranty period.
