Manufacturing Corporation of America (MCA), an investor-owned company focused on strengthening the U.S. industrial base, has announced the formation of MetalPeak Fabrication, a new joint venture between MetalOne Fabrication—an MCA-owned company—and EHC Industries. The partnership brings together two well-established metal fabrication specialists from western Pennsylvania to create a scaled, highly capable manufacturing operation.
MetalPeak Fabrication blends EHC Industries’ long-standing customer relationships and fabrication know-how with MetalOne Fabrication’s advanced equipment, large-format production capacity, and operational scale. Together, the companies form one of the most versatile metal fabrication platforms in the eastern United States, designed to support fast, precise, and reliable production across a wide range of industries.
Fritz O’Connor, Chief Executive Officer of MCA, said customer expectations are rapidly evolving as new technologies, artificial intelligence, and emerging sectors reshape manufacturing requirements. He noted that MetalPeak Fabrication brings together craftsmanship, capacity, and dependability to meet modern demands for speed, flexibility, and high-quality American-made products.
Josh Miller, owner of EHC Industries, said the joint venture builds on EHC’s history of trusted customer partnerships. By combining those relationships with MetalOne Fabrication’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, MetalPeak Fabrication offers customers a comprehensive solution for even the most complex fabrication needs.
Based in Hunker, Pennsylvania, MetalPeak Fabrication provides full prototype-to-production services, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, rolling, forming, punching, laser cutting, tube and pipe processing, and finishing. The facility is equipped with flat-sheet plate punching and laser cutting systems, multiple press brakes capable of bending up to 320 tons, a 27-foot fiber tube laser with pipe and tube bending capability, and in-house hardware insertion and assembly. These capabilities allow customers to consolidate projects under one roof while improving turnaround times and quality consistency.
Jarred Himes, Director of Operations at MetalOne Fabrication, said the venture represents more than added capacity. He explained that MetalPeak Fabrication is designed to deliver complete, on-time solutions with a high level of service, enabling innovators and established manufacturers alike to bring products to market more efficiently.
The new operation will serve customers across sectors such as transportation, technology, aerospace, HVAC, industrial manufacturing, air filtration, nuclear medicine, electrical enclosures, and data center infrastructure. As MetalPeak Fabrication expands, it plans to add skilled roles including machine operators, sales engineers, sales professionals, and customer service staff.
MetalPeak Fabrication also advances MCA’s broader mission to reinforce domestic manufacturing capabilities. Jerry Bailey, President of Manufacturing Operations at MCA, said the venture is designed to support both high-growth technology companies and long-established industrial leaders that form the backbone of the American economy.
Customers have welcomed the new partnership. Denny Singleton, Application Engineering Manager for US Power Aftermarket at American Air Filter (AAF), said the collaboration between MetalOne Fabrication and EHC strengthens AAF’s supply chain by reducing lead times and costs, enabling the company to deliver more competitive and customized solutions.
