With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Manoj Khatan, a dynamic manufacturing leader and managing Partner of Pune-based Eureka Engineering Enterprises, on November 21, 2023. Mr Khatan, a visionary in the realm of manufacturing, succumbed to a severe heart attack at the age of 59.
Since Eureka Engineering Enterprises’ founding in 2000, Manoj Khatan has driven the company’s success and innovation. Located in Bhosari, Pune, the company specialised in manufacturing temperature sensing devices, including thermocouples, thermowells, digital instruments, and their accessories.
Under his leadership, Eureka solidified its presence in the national market and made significant strides on the global stage. His expertise and innovative approaches in these fields were pivotal in positioning Eureka as a leader in the industry.
A Legacy of Excellence and Growth
A Commerce graduate from the SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Mumbai (1994 Batch), Manoj Khatan brought over 36 years of industry experience. His forward-thinking strategies and commitment to quality were crucial to Eureka’s growth. Mr Khatan’s untimely demise is a significant loss to the Indian manufacturing sector, and his absence will be profoundly felt.

Manoj Khatan’s departure marks the end of an era for Eureka Engineering Enterprises. He was the younger brother of Nandlal Khatan, Founder and Managing Director of Pune Techtrol Private Limited. A mentor and an inspiration to many, he will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to innovation, and significant contributions to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
