In a significant leadership transition, Manish Pahuja has been announced as the new Managing Director of Voith Turbo India. He succeeds Klaus Maier, who steered the Indian operations of the company as its Managing Director since February 2020.

Their unique approach of viewing all components as part of a comprehensive system, including the collaboration with customers, has been their hallmark worldwide. The company is lauded for its commitment to providing unparalleled, personalized service to its clients across the globe.
Klaus Maier’s association with Voith Turbo spans a remarkable four decades. His journey with the company has seen him don various leadership roles, the most recent being the Vice President EMEA New Business Sales Mining and Metals based in Crailsheim. Maier’s deep connection with India began in 1987 when he first visited the country as a Production Manager. Speaking on Maier’s retirement, Rajesh Nath, Managing Director of VDMA India, remarked, “Klaus Maier’s four-year tenure as the head of Voith Turbo India and his invaluable contribution to the industry over 40 years will always be remembered. We bid him a fond farewell.”
The baton now passes to Manish Pahuja, who has been associated with Voith Turbo India for over five years, previously serving as its Vice President and CFO. Pahuja brings a rich reservoir of industry experience, spanning 26 years. His expertise, primarily in finance, has been honed through his diverse roles in multiple companies. An MBA in Operation Management and Finance from the Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade, Pahuja is also a distinguished Accounting & Finance Professional accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
