Mahindra Tractors, the top tractor brand in India, has rolled out a new line of tractors featuring its advanced mLIFT Precision Hydraulics system. These tractors are built at Mahindra’s manufacturing plant in Jaipur—the only tractor facility in Rajasthan—and are tailored for both agricultural and non-agricultural use. The company has focused on delivering machines that offer strong performance, long-term durability, and ease of upkeep, helping farmers maximize output.

With the Kharif season approaching, the need for dependable machinery is high. Mahindra’s mLIFT system is designed to support a wide variety of implements, offering flexibility across different tasks. Features such as load-sensing hydraulics, variable displacement pumps, and precise control systems help ensure smooth operation and steady performance in the field. The system’s pressure-compensated directional controls also allow for consistent power output and better control of implement depth.

This upgraded hydraulic system is now integrated into three models—Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus, Mahindra 475 DI MS XP Plus, and Mahindra 575 DI XP Plus. These tractors are well-suited to the specific working conditions of Rajasthan, including prolonged hours in demanding environments. With mLIFT, farmers can benefit from more uniform tilling depth, quicker field operations, and improved results in land preparation and seeding.

Mahindra’s new tractors, manufactured in Rajasthan, are already available through its statewide dealership network. Customers also benefit from a 6-year standard warranty, which includes coverage for the mLIFT Precision Hydraulics system. This ensures peace of mind and reliable support for long-term operations.

The Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus is powered by a 3-cylinder ELS DI engine generating 152 Nm of torque. It offers a hydraulic lift capacity of 1500 kg and fuel efficiency with a specific fuel consumption (SFC) of 191 gm/hp-hr. Designed for tough field conditions, it features a wet air cleaner with a pre-cleaner, a 32.1 LPM hydraulic pump, optional power steering, and a large-capacity radiator—making it ideal for dusty and high-temperature environments.

The Mahindra 475 DI MS XP Plus includes a 4-cylinder engine producing 194 Nm of torque and 21% backup torque. It comes with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, dual-acting power steering, and sturdy 13.6 x 28 rear tyres. It also features a dust-resistant air intake system, YCV (for adjustable PTO speed), and improved cooling—making it effective for both fieldwork and transport.

Lastly, the Mahindra 575 DI XP Plus offers a high torque output of 207 Nm with 15% backup torque, ensuring stable performance under varying load conditions. It delivers superior fuel efficiency with an SFC of 185 gm/hp-hr and supports a lift capacity of 1500 kg. Like its counterparts, this model includes a dust-resistant air cleaner, high-capacity radiator, YCV option, and is engineered for stability, making it well-suited for heavy-duty farm operations and haulage.

Situated along the Jaipur–Kishangarh Expressway in Sanganer, 40 km from Jaipur, Mahindra’s tractor manufacturing facility was established in 2002. Employing over 700 people, the plant handles tractor assembly, hydraulics, transmission, and painting. It has a yearly capacity of 54,000 units, producing 40 variants across 7 models (15–50 hp range). To date, over 350,000 tractors and transmissions have been produced at this location.

Mahindra entered the tractor business in 1963 through a partnership with International Harvester Inc. (USA). Today, it stands as the only Indian company to have sold over 4 million tractors globally. The brand offers more than 390 models, meeting the needs of farmers across domestic and global markets.

Recognized for their durability and strong performance in difficult terrain, Mahindra tractors have received several prestigious international awards, including the Deming Award and the Japanese Quality Medal — a rare distinction in the industry. Mahindra’s presence spans 50+ countries across six continents, with its largest overseas market being the U.S. It also has manufacturing partnerships in North America, Brazil, Finland, Turkey, and Japan. Apart from the Jaipur plant, Mahindra operates tractor facilities in Mumbai, Nagpur, Zaheerabad, and Rudrapur.
