Mahindra Tractors Achieves 40 Lakh Sales Milestone

Mahindra Tractors has reached a significant milestone of selling 40 lakh tractors. Established in 1963 through a joint venture with US-based International Harvester, Mahindra became the first Indian tractor brand to achieve 3 million global tractor sales in 2019.

Over the past 60 years, Mahindra has introduced more than 390 tractor models and built a robust network of 1200 dealers across India.

Mahindra’s farm sector has shown consistent growth, with the company recording 45,888 tractor sales in June 2024, marking a 5.8 percent year-on-year increase from June 2023. From January to June 2024, Mahindra sold 1,16,930 tractors, reflecting a 5 percent year-on-year growth over the same period in 2023.

Mahindra Tractors also experienced substantial growth in exports, shipping 1,431 units in June 2024, a 28 percent increase from June last year. In the first half of 2024, Mahindra exported 4,537 tractors, registering a robust 45 percent year-on-year growth. With a wide range of over 390 tractor models and a strong network of 1200 dealers across India, Mahindra has seen steady growth in its farm sector. In June 2024 alone,
