The Thar 5-door will have different engine options such as 1.5-litre diesel RWD, 2.2-litre diesel with 4WD and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Automatic gearbox options will be available for all engines, appealing to city drivers.
Impact on Other Mahindra SUVs
The Thar 5-door might affect sales of other Mahindra models like the Scorpio Classic, Scorpio N, and XUV700. Some dealers have started unofficial bookings for the Thar 5-door.
