Mahindra Group has entered into a partnership with Sentrycs Ltd through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing and providing anti-drone solutions in India. This collaboration, unveiled today, focuses on creating technology for both civilian and military use, in line with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The partnership will involve the transfer of technology and manufacturing of radio frequency-based counter-drone systems. These advanced systems will autonomously detect, track, identify, and neutralize incoming drones, distinguishing between friendly and hostile units, and safely redirecting threats to designated areas.
Vinod Sahay, President of Mahindra’s Aerospace & Defence Sector, expressed pride in this initiative, stating, “We are proud to contribute to the protection of the nation and its assets. This MoU with Sentrycs opens up opportunities in the anti-drone sector, positioning us to offer advanced technological solutions with global partners across various applications in the future. This aligns perfectly with our Make in India objectives.”
