Mahindra Introduces the All-New Veero

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s top utility vehicle manufacturer and a leader in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment under 3.5 tons, has launched the Mahindra Veero, starting at ₹7.99 lakh. The Veero is set to redefine the LCV <3.5 t category with unmatched fuel efficiency, top-tier performance powered by multiple engine choices, best-in-class safety features, enhanced occupant protection, and a premium cabin experience.

Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), the first modular commercial vehicle platform designed from the ground up in India, supports various powertrain options, including diesel, CNG, and electric, making it adaptable to multiple business needs. The platform is engineered for best-in-class total ownership costs and enhanced safety, accommodating payloads ranging from 1 to over 2 tons with different deck lengths.

The Veero is packed with first-in-segment features such as a driver-side airbag, reverse parking camera, a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, and power windows. It also offers a best-in-class payload of 1,600 kg, a cargo length of 3035 mm, 18.4 km/l* mileage for diesel, and a turning radius of 5.1 meters, making it ideal for urban settings.

Mahindra Veero offers business owners innovative solutions with its best-in-class mileage and long service intervals, reducing downtime and increasing profitability. The diesel variant achieves 18.4 km/l*, while the CNG version provides 19.2 km/kg* and a range exceeding 500 km.

An advanced Stop-Start system, fuel coaching, and Eco mode contribute to even more savings. With a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty and Mahindra’s iMAXX connected solutions app, which is available in six regional languages, the Veero makes vehicle monitoring simple and efficient.

Performance-wise, Mahindra Veero outshines its competitors with powerful engine options, including a 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine producing 59.7 kW and 210 Nm of torque, and a Turbo mCNG engine delivering 67.2 kW and 210 Nm of torque. The Veero also offers a class-leading 1,600 kg payload for diesel and 1,500 kg for CNG, ensuring businesses can transport more per trip.

In terms of safety, the Veero comes with segment-first features, including a driver airbag, reverse parking camera, and advanced safety systems like a False Start Avoidance System. Its design uses high-strength steel to enhance safety, ride comfort, and vehicle durability.
