Mahindra Group’s logistics division, Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL), announced the opening of its new warehousing facility in Phaltan, near Pune, which has officially begun operations. Spanning 300,000 square feet, the facility will primarily serve Cummins India, a leading power solutions provider. It aims to streamline operations by consolidating products from multiple sources into one central hub, improving overall operational efficiency.
This new facility is set to enhance Cummins India’s logistics capabilities, boosting supply chain visibility, availability, and efficiency through an integrated warehousing and distribution network. In addition to improving operational performance, the facility will create over 500 local employment opportunities, supporting the surrounding community.
As one of the region’s most sophisticated warehousing projects, the Phaltan facility will support both inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse management, last-mile dispatch operations, and agile manufacturing processes for Cummins India.
