Mahindra EPC Irrigation Limited, a leader in micro irrigation technology in India, has successfully saved an estimated 262 crore litres of water and 8.4 million units (MU) of energy in the fiscal year 2025. This accomplishment comes through the company’s specialized irrigation solutions, community irrigation programs, and agricultural water management initiatives aimed at improving land restoration and enhancing drought resilience.
This milestone aligns with Mahindra EPC’s broader commitment to the principles of “Doing More with Less” and “Rejuvenating Nature,” which are integral to the Mahindra Group’s sustainability efforts. These initiatives focus on protecting natural resources and contributing to climate action.
Ramesh Ramachandran, Managing Director of Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd, commented on the achievement, saying, “At Mahindra EPC, our focus has always been on putting farmers first. This achievement demonstrates our continued efforts to promote micro irrigation, which not only conserves water but also saves energy, helping make Indian farming more resilient. It aligns with both the government’s ‘Per Drop, More Crop’ initiative and our own sustainability goals within the Mahindra Group.”
