L&T’s Minerals & Metals (M&M) division has secured a major contract to establish freight handling facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This repeat order comes from a leading railway company in the GCC, which is undertaking a multi-phase capacity expansion project.
The contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of advanced freight handling facilities at two locations, along with an additional package. L&T has a strong track record of successfully delivering freight handling facilities across railway corridors in India and the Middle East, reinforcing the company’s expertise and position as a key player in EPC and Design-Build projects.
