L&T Technology Services, a global leader in engineering and technology services, has officially launched its cutting-edge Engineering Design Center in Plano, Texas. This new facility underscores LTTS’ ongoing commitment to advancing AI, technology, and digital manufacturing solutions, while also establishing more nearshore centers to meet the growing demands of its clients.
The facility is fully compliant with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and is designed to develop and test defense-related systems and products. Additionally, the center will focus on creating advanced cybersecurity solutions, including a dedicated Security Operations Center (SoC), which will also play a key role in developing Smart City technologies. The center, initially equipped to support 100 engineers, aims to generate over 350 skilled jobs in key sectors such as Mobility and Technology.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including the Mayor of Plano, John B Muns, Vice President of Caterpillar, Tim Graham, Consul General of India in Houston, Manjunath Chenneerappa, and Alind Saxena, President & Executive Director (Mobility & Tech) at LTTS.
