L&T Secures Major Order Worth ₹1,000-2,500 Crore from JSW Energy for Pump Storage Project in Maharashtra

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Monday that it has secured a significant order valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore from JSW Energy to execute the Bhavali Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in Maharashtra. The order, won by L&T’s heavy civil infrastructure division, is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its capabilities in large-scale infrastructure projects.

The Bhavali PSP, located strategically between the Nashik and Thane districts of Maharashtra, will have an installed capacity of 1,500 MW, distributed across multiple smaller units. The project involves extensive civil works, including the construction of approach roads, upper and lower reservoirs, water conductor systems, pressure tunnels, and the underground powerhouse unit.
