Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) division has secured significant contracts from central and state government agencies across India. The company has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the development of Common Central Secretariat Buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi.
The scope of work includes two structures, each comprising a basement, two podium levels, upper ground floor, and six additional floors. L&T will be responsible for the complete civil works, finishing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services, site development, and five years of operations and maintenance.
In addition, L&T has received a contract from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the design and construction of the new State Legislative Assembly building. The planned structure will consist of a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors. Both projects are scheduled for completion within an 18-month timeframe.
