L&T Energy GreenTech Limited (LTEGL) and John Cockerill have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore and develop technologies in Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and Thermal Energy Storage (TES). This partnership aims to drive innovation in sustainable energy solutions, with a focus on enhancing energy transition efforts.
LTEGL, a fully owned subsidiary of L&T, is committed to advancing green energy solutions, including Green Hydrogen and Electrolyser Manufacturing. It focuses on three core areas: Development, Manufacturing, and EPC. LTEGL delivers comprehensive solutions across the Green Energy value chain, combining cutting-edge technology with strategic partnerships and focused research and development.
With over 200 years of expertise in energy and industry, John Cockerill is at the forefront of developing technological solutions that aid the energy transition. The company’s innovations include systems for renewable electricity production, energy storage, and optimization of power plant efficiency. John Cockerill’s portfolio includes heat recovery steam generators, CSP plant receivers, integrated units for green electricity production, and industrial boilers.
The MoU between LTEGL and John Cockerill seeks to explore collaboration opportunities in the manufacturing, supply, and engineering of components critical for deploying CSP and TES technologies. This partnership will work towards advancing the green energy sector by enabling the production and storage of renewable power.
