L&T-Cloudfiniti, the data centre division of Larsen & Toubro, has successfully onboarded its first significant client at its advanced hyperscale facility in Sriperumbudur near Chennai. The Sriperumbudur Data Centre, with a total capacity of 30 MW, currently offers 12 MW of colocation-ready space across two operational floors.
The new client, a prominent cloud service provider, has leased 6 MW of IT load capacity, occupying an entire floor with high-density racks and bulk bandwidth requirements. This milestone represents a major customer acquisition for Cloudfiniti’s newly launched operations. The 10-year contract highlights the client’s confidence in Cloudfiniti’s cutting-edge technology, robust infrastructure, and the strategic advantages of the facility’s location.
