Lohia Aerospace Systems (LAS), a prominent name in India’s aerospace and defense manufacturing sector, wrapped up a successful exhibition at the Paris Air Show 2025 in Le Bourget. As the sole Indian composites manufacturer at the event, LAS showcased India’s growing strength in advanced aerospace production.
Throughout the show, LAS presented a range of state-of-the-art composite components and aerostructures designed for both civil and defense sectors. The displayed items—such as lightweight structural assemblies and UAV subsystems—captured considerable attention from global aerospace leaders, who praised their precision, innovation, and readiness for integration into international supply chains.
LAS also held a series of pre-scheduled meetings with top OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers within the aerospace industry. These strategic engagements have advanced discussions with a major OEM on composite interior structures for a next-generation aircraft. Additionally, LAS is in talks to localize the production of intricate structural parts for helicopters with leading OEMs, supporting India’s vision for greater self-reliance in defense manufacturing. The company is also exploring new collaboration opportunities with a U.S.-based Tier 1 supplier to jointly compete for civil and defense contracts in the U.S., strengthening its global footprint.
Beyond new business prospects, LAS secured significant contract renewals with existing customers, reinforcing its reputation for high-quality, reliable deliveries. “The Paris Air Show was a highly productive experience for us,” said Anurag Lohia, CEO of Lohia Aerospace Systems. “Not only did we continue meaningful discussions with our long-standing clients, but we also initiated new global partnerships.
