The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a $720 million contract for the production of Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles (JAGM) and HELLFIRE missiles. This marks the fourth and final follow-on award under the Army’s current multi-year contract, strengthening the company’s role as a key supplier of precision-guided missile systems for the U.S. military and allied forces.

Under the new contract, Lockheed Martin will supply JAGM and HELLFIRE missiles to meet operational requirements for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and international partners. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) included in this award cover 160 JAGMs for the United Kingdom, along with HELLFIRE orders for NATO allies Poland, Spain, Czech Republic, and Italy. Canada has also been added as a new HELLFIRE customer through this contract.

“This award represents another milestone in our partnership with the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and allied nations,” said Casey Walsh, Program Management Director of Multi-Domain Missile Systems at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. “We remain committed to delivering advanced deterrence solutions that support critical missions and safeguard those who serve.”

The Poland order is closely tied to the U.S. government’s Foreign Military Sales agreement for AH-64E Apache helicopters for the Polish Air Force, highlighting how missile system contracts align with broader defense partnerships.

Both JAGM and HELLFIRE missiles are designed and developed in Orlando, Florida, and produced across Lockheed Martin facilities in Dallas, Texas; Orlando and Ocala, Florida; Archbald, Pennsylvania; and Troy, Alabama. With more than 145,000 missiles manufactured to date, the systems remain among the most relied-upon precision-strike weapons worldwide.

Lockheed Martin is a global defense and aerospace technology leader delivering advanced mission solutions across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains. Through its 21st Century Security® vision, the company continues to accelerate innovation and provide cutting-edge capabilities that strengthen national security and keep allied forces mission-ready.
