Lockheed Martin has unveiled its latest generative AI innovation, the Lockheed Martin Text Navigator (LMText Navigator), designed to enhance efficiency across its U.S. operations. This cutting-edge tool will optimize processes by accelerating code generation, analyzing data, and automating business functions. AI is central to Lockheed Martin’s goal of delivering advanced security solutions for a safer world.
LMText Navigator: Pioneering AI Technology for Enhanced Performance
“LMText Navigator is a fully internal generative AI platform that accelerates the rapid transition of AI-enabled solutions from prototype to production while ensuring on-premises data security,” explained Mike Baylor, Lockheed Martin’s Chief Digital and AI Officer. This innovative tool leverages NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD AI infrastructure, empowering employees to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
LMText Navigator will be used for tasks such as:
- Speeding up post-mission analytics,
- Developing and testing software code,
- Extracting critical information from complex production documents.
The tool was created by Lockheed Martin’s AI Factory, in collaboration with the 1LMX transformation team.

The LMText Navigator is part of a broader AI ecosystem developed within the AI Factory, which operates under the Lockheed Martin AI Center (LAIC).
