LNJ Bhilwara Group, a key player across industries like textiles, power generation, and advanced materials, is making significant strides in sustainability through its ventures—REPLUS and The Advanced Carbons Company (TACC). These initiatives reinforce the Group’s commitment to driving a cleaner and greener future.
REPLUS, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy Ltd, is at the forefront of renewable energy solutions, specializing in advanced battery storage technologies and smart energy management systems. It plays a crucial role in supporting e-mobility and energy storage by leveraging cutting-edge lithium battery chemistries and high-tech manufacturing expertise.
A major milestone for REPLUS is the successful design, development, and production of India’s first AIS-038 Certified Liquid-Cooled Battery Pack (32KWh) for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). The modular design allows its application across multiple vehicle segments, including LCVs, 13.5m coaches, and 55-ton trucks. Manufactured at REPLUS’ 1GWh facility in Pune, this high-performance battery pack has already undergone over 50,000 kilometers of on-road testing, demonstrating its reliability and efficiency.
“Our battery pack sets new benchmarks in energy density, compact design, and lifecycle performance. At REPLUS, we are committed to leading the New Energy Battery revolution by providing scalable and sustainable solutions that contribute to reducing carbon footprints,” said Hiren Pravin Shah, Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of REPLUS.
The Advanced Carbons Company (TACC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HEG Limited under LNJ Bhilwara Group, is driving innovation in carbon-based materials. Its upcoming 20,000 MTPA Synthetic Graphite Anode facility will cater to lithium-ion cell manufacturers, alongside 4,000+ MT of Graphene and its derivatives for diverse industrial applications. These advanced materials are essential for powering lithium-ion batteries used in EVs and energy storage systems.
TACC is also developing next-generation solutions, including Silicon Anodes, Hard Carbon for Sodium-Ion Batteries, and Processed Graphite Powder for Bipolar Plates. Beyond energy storage, its graphene derivatives enhance the durability and performance of concrete, textiles, paints, and rubber, promoting sustainability across industries.
“TACC is at the forefront of material science innovation, producing high-performance graphite and silicon anodes for EVs and battery storage while pioneering graphene applications across industries. Our focus is on delivering sustainable, high-efficiency solutions that minimize environmental impact,” said Ankur Khaitan, Managing Director and CEO of TACC Limited.
With REPLUS and TACC driving technological advancements, LNJ Bhilwara Group is setting new industry standards in sustainability and innovation. By integrating state-of-the-art technologies with a focus on environmental responsibility, the Group continues to lead India’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.
LNJ Bhilwara Group, a diversified conglomerate with over six decades of expertise, generates an annual revenue of USD 1.2 billion. Originally rooted in textiles, the Group has expanded its reach into graphite electrodes, power generation, IT-enabled services, energy storage, and skill development. Today, it operates 22 companies, five of which are listed on Indian stock exchanges, with a presence in 41 locations and a workforce of over 25,000 professionals.
