LANXESS, a leader in specialty chemicals, is set to present its extensive range of sustainable flavor and fragrance solutions at the XXVI FAFAI International Convention & Expo on March 6-7, 2025 in New Delhi. The company’s Flavors & Fragrances (F&F) division will feature a selection of its high-quality aroma chemicals in Hall 2, booth F3-2.
At the event, LANXESS will highlight its newly launched grades of Kalama® benzyl benzoate, including the Ultrapure Scopeblue® variant, which is certified ISCC PLUS and offers a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, the company will showcase a variety of aroma ingredients, such as Kalama® Florosol, known for its lily-of-the-valley scent with hints of rose and lilac, perfect for fine fragrances, personal care, and home applications. Another key feature is Kalama® Azuril, a vibrant citrus-ozone-linen fragrance that delivers long-lasting freshness, suitable for floral, citrus, and marine compositions. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample these aroma chemicals directly at the LANXESS booth.
LANXESS offers a range of benzyl benzoate grades designed for diverse applications, from flavors and fragrances to pharmaceuticals and textiles. The high molecular weight and nearly odorless nature of these chemicals make them an ideal fixative.
The newly introduced Ultrapure Scopeblue® grade enhances both odor performance and sustainability, offering a greener alternative for products like deodorants, candles, and fragrance solvents. This variant is made from renewable mass balance feedstock (ISCC PLUS certified) and boasts a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared to conventional grades.
LANXESS is deeply committed to helping its customers meet their sustainability objectives, whether through the manufacturing process or by providing environmentally friendly products. The company offers sustainable alternatives derived from renewable raw materials and energy, ensuring the fragrances and chemicals are not only effective but also eco-friendly.
With its Scopeblue® label, LANXESS identifies products that contribute to climate-friendly solutions and the circular economy. These products are either based on over 50% sustainable raw materials or have a carbon footprint that is 50% lower than conventional options. All Scopeblue® products follow the mass balance approach, ensuring they are chemically identical to their traditional counterparts.
The Flavors & Fragrances division of LANXESS is one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-purity, nature-identical aroma chemicals.
