Specialty chemicals company LANXESS has once again been recognised among global sustainability leaders, earning a place on the CDP “A List” for climate protection for the seventh consecutive year. With this top-tier rating, LANXESS ranks within the top 4% of over 22,100 companies assessed worldwide.
CDP awarded LANXESS high scores across key parameters including climate strategy, emissions reduction, governance, value chain engagement, and the development of climate-friendly products. The evaluation highlights the company’s transparent reporting, science-based targets, and consistent execution of its climate action roadmap.
In addition to climate performance, LANXESS also delivered a strong showing in water stewardship, receiving an A- rating from CDP, underscoring its structured and responsible water management practices across operations. LANXESS has been reporting to CDP continuously since 2012, reflecting its long-standing commitment to environmental transparency and measurable progress.
Further strengthening its sustainability credentials, the company’s efforts were also validated by EcoVadis, which reaffirmed LANXESS’s Gold status in December 2025. With a score of 83 out of 100, LANXESS improved upon its previous year’s performance and placed itself among the top 2% of all companies evaluated globally.
