Kolkata-based Lalbaba Engineering Group has set an ambitious target to achieve ₹2,500 crore in revenue by the financial year 2026-27, driven by robust growth in its seamless tube and forging segments. The company announced a joint venture with German tube manufacturing leader Poppe+Potthoff to establish a seamless tube production facility in Haryana, aimed at catering to the automotive industry.

“This 50:50 joint venture involves an investment of around ₹200 crore for the Haryana plant. The location was strategically chosen to remain close to key clients like Maruti and Honda. Depending on demand, we may consider expanding to other automotive hubs domestically or internationally,” said Amit Dhanuka, Director of Lalbaba Engineering Group.

In the last fiscal year, the company reported ₹750 crore in revenue, with 60% from its tube business and the remaining 40% from its forging division. “Both divisions have significant potential. We are optimistic about crossing ₹1,000 crore in revenue this fiscal and are confident of reaching ₹2,500 crore by FY27,” Dhanuka stated.
