KSH Integrated Logistics has strengthened its national logistics network with the launch of its first warehousing facility in Eastern India, establishing a 60,000 sq ft Grade-A multi-client distribution centre in Kolkata. The expansion marks the company’s entry into one of India’s fastest-growing logistics markets and is expected to support businesses serving Eastern and North-Eastern India with integrated supply chain solutions.
Strategically located to improve regional connectivity, the new facility has been developed to address the growing demand for modern warehousing infrastructure as consumption, manufacturing, and trade activities continue to expand across eastern states. The warehouse has been designed to provide scalable logistics solutions that enable businesses to expand operations without making significant investments in dedicated storage infrastructure.
The Kolkata facility will cater to a broad range of industries, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD), fintech, industrial products and other sectors that require efficient inventory management and dependable distribution networks. By combining advanced warehousing capabilities with technology-driven operations, KSH aims to improve supply chain efficiency while supporting faster order fulfilment across the region.
Commenting on the launch, Vinay Patil, Chief Executive Officer of KSH Integrated Logistics, said Kolkata serves as an important gateway to Eastern and North-Eastern India, making it a strategic location for the company’s next phase of expansion. He noted that businesses increasingly require logistics partners capable of delivering both operational scale and flexibility, adding that the new facility reflects KSH’s long-term vision of building a connected logistics network that supports India’s evolving supply chain landscape.
Beyond conventional warehousing, the new centre offers a comprehensive portfolio of value-added services including pre-packing, kitting, MRP labelling, inventory customisation and other supply chain support functions tailored to customer requirements. The operation is supported by advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms that provide real-time inventory visibility, improved operational control and seamless order processing.
As part of its sustainability initiatives, KSH will deploy electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries, reducing emissions while improving urban distribution efficiency. The warehouse has also been built with comprehensive fire safety infrastructure, including hydrant systems, automatic sprinklers and other safety measures that comply with industry standards. The company expects the facility to generate more than 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to local economic development while enhancing logistics infrastructure in the region.
With the addition of the Kolkata warehouse, KSH Integrated Logistics continues to expand its nationwide footprint, offering integrated warehousing, transportation, distribution and value-added logistics services to customers across sectors including automotive, industrial, chemicals, FMCG, FMCD and fintech. The company plans to further strengthen its infrastructure network as businesses increasingly seek technology-enabled, scalable supply chain solutions across India.
