KSB Limited, a leading Indian manufacturer of pumps and valves, reported a 6.04% rise in sales for the first half of 2025 (January–June) compared to the same period last year, reflecting sustained demand across its core business segments. During the first half of 2025, the company secured a landmark order from Larsen & Toubro for boiler feed pumps to be installed at NTPC’s Gadarwara and Nabinagar supercritical power plants. This marks the company’s first-ever supercritical order from L&T for an 800 MW power plant, underscoring its growing presence in the high-capacity power sector.
In the renewable energy segment, the company received substantial solar pump orders valued at ₹46 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company, along with an additional ₹25.3 crore order from Haryana Renewable Energy. These wins highlight the company’s continued contribution to sustainable energy initiatives and rural water supply infrastructure.
The export business also recorded notable progress, with a significant boiler feed pump order from Thermax and another major order from EMC Energy in Egypt. Additionally, the company secured contracts to supply equipment for three upcoming petrochemical projects in the Middle East, further expanding its global footprint.
The Wastewater segment delivered exceptional performance, achieving 65% year-to-date growth compared to the previous year. This was driven by a large-scale order from Kolkata Municipal Corporation and a breakthrough order for the newly launched Sewatec pumps, marking a strong step forward in the company’s water management solutions portfolio.
Commenting on the results, Prashant Kumar, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), said “KSB has delivered a strong and dynamic performance in Q2 2025, backed by robust order inflow and consistent demand in Power, Solar, Waste Water, Nuclear, and Petrochemicals. Our Waste Water segment has shown remarkable year-on-year growth, and the Solar division continues to progress in line with our sustainability goals. With increasing export business and a healthy order book, we are confident in sustaining our growth momentum through the year.”
