KPIT Technologies, a software provider for the automotive and mobility sectors, reported a net profit of Rs 204.16 crore in Q1 FY25, marking a 52.4% year-on-year increase. Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 1364 crore, up 24% from the previous year, driven by growth in middleware and powertrain domains.
Kishor Patil, Co-founder, CEO, and MD of KPIT, highlighted the company’s strong start to the year, despite challenges in the mobility industry. He noted that KPIT is investing in new offerings and expanding into new markets to support clients in reducing costs and speeding up time-to-market.
President and Joint MD, Sachin Tikekar, emphasized the focus on making Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) a reality for clients. He also mentioned efforts to improve productivity and competitiveness through AI and investments in employee development. Additionally, KPIT announced the merger of its German subsidiary, Future Mobility Solutions GmbH, with KPIT Technologies GmbH. As of March 31, 2024, Future Mobility Solutions GmbH had a turnover of €8.7 million, while KPIT GmbH had a turnover of €99.17 million.
