Amit Gossain, Managing Director of KONE Elevators India, expressed confidence in this goal, stating, “If the economy grows at 6-7 percent annually, we will grow in double digits.” He emphasized the company’s ambition to surpass both industry and economic growth rates.
To realize this target, KONE India plans to invest in new product development and enhance production capabilities sourced locally. KONE is focused on digitalization, implementing connected services and utilizing apps such as the KONE Mobility App for operators and technicians. The residential sector, which accounts for 70 percent of KONE India’s revenue, is a primary area of interest, alongside modernizing existing infrastructure and promoting sustainability.
“Residential is a key focus for us,” Gossain stated. The strategy involves a comprehensive approach to achieve double-digit growth in this sector by expanding KONE’s reach in both affordable and premium housing markets, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities where urbanization is driving demand for vertical transportation solutions.

Additionally, the company is strengthening its partnerships with real estate developers to integrate its solutions early in the project timeline, ensuring smoother implementation and fostering long-term collaborations.
