Komatsu India, a subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd (Japan) and a global leader in construction and mining equipment, has conferred the “Significant Contribution Award (FY 2024-25)” on Mother India Forming (MIF) for its excellence in safety-driven tube engineering. The award was presented at Komatsu India’s 18th Annual Business Partners Meet, which brought together suppliers and stakeholders to discuss advancements in quality, safety, supply chain, and manufacturing innovation.
Representing MIF, Santosh Venkatasubbaiah (Director – Sales & Marketing) and Anil Kumar (COO) received the recognition. This milestone reinforces MIF’s role as a trusted contributor to Komatsu’s global ecosystem for construction and mining equipment.
MIF was acknowledged for its pivotal role in developing ROPS/FOPS-compliant profile tubes used in Komatsu’s operator cabins. These advanced tubular profiles meet rigorous international standards for Roll Over Protective Structures (ROPS) and Falling Object Protective Structures (FOPS), ensuring operator safety in high-demand mining and construction environments. By integrating advanced forming technologies with strict quality systems, MIF has enhanced durability, reliability, and long-term safety for Komatsu’s heavy machinery.
Santosh Venkatasubbaiah stated “We are honoured to be recognised by Komatsu India. This award reflects our commitment to safety, precision, and customer-focused innovation. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Komatsu and contributing to the industry’s progress.”
Anil Kumar added “This recognition affirms the synergy between MIF’s engineering expertise and Komatsu’s vision for stronger, safer, and more efficient equipment. It motivates us to keep raising the bar for manufacturing excellence.” Beyond this award, the achievement underscores MIF’s broader mission: advancing forming technologies that balance safety, performance, and sustainability without compromise.
