This 11-month course, consisting of six months of training at the institute and five months of paid on-the-job experience with industry partners, aims to provide students with the expertise needed to manage and troubleshoot packaging systems. Enrollment begins in May 2025, with more details available from the institute.
This program targets ITI graduates in Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, or Instrumentation, diploma holders, and 12th-grade science students. The curriculum covers essential topics such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), automation, and pneumatics. During the five months of hands-on training in industry settings, students will learn practical skills for operating and maintaining packaging machinery, including troubleshooting, safety protocols, and machinery optimization.

With over 280 members, IPMMI (Institute of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers of India) offers students valuable training opportunities and placement support. The program ensures 100% placement assistance with a guaranteed starting salary of ₹3 lakh annually for successful candidates.

According to the MoU, KJSPITI will provide advanced laboratory facilities and expert faculty, while IPMMI will contribute course materials, equipment, and organize on-the-job training with a stipend of ₹10,000 per month. The program addresses key industry challenges like automation, sustainability, and packaging efficiency.
