Kirloskar Pneumatic Company, a well-established name in India’s air, refrigeration, and gas compression space, announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY26. Revenue from operations reached ₹272 crore, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹36.8 crore, showing consistency compared to the same quarter last year.
Total income for the quarter came in at ₹280.2 crore, slightly up from ₹279.7 crore in Q1 FY25. Despite relatively flat sales, the company maintained stable margins and delivered an EBITDA margin of 15.7%, slightly higher than the 15.6% reported in the year-ago period. Profit After Tax (PAT) was ₹28.1 crore, representing 10% of total income. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to ₹4.33, compared to ₹4.15 in the previous year.
The company received fresh orders worth ₹365 crore during the quarter, with the total order book rising to ₹1,725 crore as of July 1, 2025, from ₹1,624 crore in April. While new order inflows were somewhat muted due to global uncertainties delaying large contracts, the business remains positioned for growth in the upcoming quarters. KPCL also launched “Tyche,” a semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor targeted at the commercial refrigeration market. Designed and built with an in-house motor, the product aims to offer better performance at a competitive price.
In line with its strategy of backward integration and cost optimization, KPCL has commissioned a new foundry at Nashik using lost foam casting—a more environmentally responsible method that aligns with sustainable manufacturing goals. The core compression division continues to drive revenue, contributing nearly 89% to the company’s topline. The company also noted that consolidated figures now include Systems and Components India Pvt. Ltd., recently acquired by KPCL. Year-over-year comparison for this entity will be reflected after a full financial year cycle.
