Electric mobility company Kinetic Green is gearing up to roll out three new electric scooters over the next year and a half, aiming to strengthen its presence in the two-wheeler segment. The first model in the new lineup is scheduled for launch around the festive season later this year, according to a statement from the Pune-based company.
To develop this new range, Kinetic Green has teamed up with Italian design house Torino Design, focusing on futuristic aesthetics and innovation. “We’ve already delivered over 80,000 electric two-wheelers, built a robust manufacturing setup, and established a strong network of 400 dedicated dealerships across India. We’re now ready to take our two-wheeler business to the next level,” said Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani.
She added that the collaboration with Torino Design marks a new chapter for the brand as it works to transform the image and functionality of electric scooters in the Indian market. Kinetic Green began its electric journey in 2016 with battery-powered three-wheelers. In 2022, it branched out into the two-wheeler category and introduced the E-Luna in 2024, which has reportedly performed well in both consumer and commercial sectors.
The company expects rapid growth in the electric two-wheeler market over the next five years. Market penetration is projected to jump from the current 15% to 70%, with the segment potentially reaching a market size of ₹40,000 crore, based on industry estimates.
Kinetic Green, a venture by the Kinetic and Firodia Group, has become a leading force in India’s electric vehicle industry, offering a broad range of EVs including electric three-wheelers for both cargo and passenger needs, as well as newly launched electric two-wheelers under the Kinetic Green brand. The company has also partnered with Tonino Lamborghini of Italy, a renowned luxury brand, to produce electric golf carts and buggies.
Led by Sulajja Firodia Motwani, a third-generation leader of the Firodia family, Kinetic Green has successfully designed, manufactured, and sold over 100,000 electric vehicles, with total sales reaching around ₹1000 Crores. Kinetic Green is committed to providing green mobility solutions to the masses, and has been a pioneer in several areas, including developing the first ARAI-approved electric three-wheelers and introducing Lithium-ion battery technology in electric three-wheelers in India.
