KERN-LIEBERS India is proud to announce the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Pune, Maharashtra. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategic commitment to strengthening its presence in India and serving global markets with high-precision components.
The new Pune facility marks a significant expansion of KERN-LIEBERS’ presence in India, complementing the company’s existing operations in Tumkur, Karnataka. Aligned with the company’s philosophy of “Global Competence – Local Presence,” the Pune plant is specifically designed to manufacture Precision Smart Parts for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive sector. With a built-up area of 3,892 square meters and a total land area of 8,277 square meters, the facility not only boosts KERN-LIEBERS’ manufacturing capacity for both domestic and export markets but also supports regional employment and skill development.
The inauguration event was attended by key leadership from the KERN-LIEBERS Group, including Udo von Reinersdorff, Chief Financial Officer; Wolfgang Gref, Chief Technology Officer; and Hans-Sönke Hartmann, MBA, Executive Vice President. They were welcomed by Dattatray H Nagale, Managing Director of KERN-LIEBERS India Pvt. Ltd., and joined by employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners to celebrate the occasion.

Additionally, the facility is designed with a strong focus on automation and sustainability, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.
