Kenvue India, part of one of the world’s largest consumer health company, has been recognised with the prestigious IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award (RBNQA) for Performance Excellence in the Manufacturing category. Presented by the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this award reflects the company’s strong focus on supply chain resilience, product quality, employee safety, and purpose-driven leadership.

The award was presented to Kenvue India’s leadership team at a ceremony in Mumbai, in the presence of key dignitaries, including Neeraj Bajaj, Chairman, and Suresh Lulla, Co-Chairman of the IMC RBNQA Trust. Established on the principles of the Malcolm Baldrige Framework from the United States, the IMC RBNQA recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in customer engagement, strategic planning, innovation, sustainability, and community impact. Kenvue’s selection followed a thorough evaluation, including detailed assessments, peer reviews, and site audits.

Manish Anandani, Managing Director of Kenvue India, stated, “We are proud to receive the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award, showcasing our company’s continued commitment to performance excellence backed by its state-of-the-art manufacturing site and R&D facility. This award recognises our leadership in setting quality standards, science-backed innovations, and digital-first processes. We thank the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry for this recognition and will continue setting benchmarks in quality and performance across the industry, delivering everyday care to more consumers.”

The IMC award citation commended Kenvue India for several innovative and effective operational practices that contributed to its performance excellence. One such initiative is Operator-Driven Quality Assurance, where frontline production staff are empowered to assess and ensure product quality at every manufacturing stage, reinforcing a culture of accountability. Another key program, known as ‘I Own’, encourages employees across the organisation to take ownership of their roles, enabling them to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to operational outcomes.

In addition to its focus on employee empowerment, Kenvue India has embraced advanced technologies and a strong safety culture. Integrating 3D printing technology has streamlined manufacturing processes and improved cost efficiency, supporting the company’s commitment to innovation. Equally notable is Kenvue’s zero-incident safety record over the past three years, achieved through a proactive and comprehensive approach to workplace safety. These practices collectively reflect Kenvue’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and employee well-being.

In 2022, the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network recognised Kenvue’s Mulund and Baddi plants for leadership in Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and robotics. These facilities were acknowledged for advancing manufacturing efficiency and transforming end-to-end operations.

As per the media release, Kenvue is the largest standalone consumer health company globally in terms of revenue. With a legacy spanning over 100 years, Kenvue’s portfolio includes trusted brands such as Listerine®, Johnson’s®, Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, and Tylenol®. The company focuses on science-backed innovation and is committed to delivering high-quality everyday care to consumers worldwide.
