Kennametal India Limited is set to present its latest wear-resistant technologies at the Valve World Expo India, taking place on September 19-20, 2024, at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. The company will highlight its Conforma Clad™ technology and Stellite™ components, which are engineered to offer exceptional wear protection in demanding environments. These innovations are designed to enhance the longevity and performance of critical components.
“India’s growth trajectory in the energy sector, driven by significant capacity expansions and new projects, presents a substantial opportunity for our wear-resistant solutions,” stated MT Swamy, Director of Sales. “Our offerings, including tungsten carbide, Stellite, and Conforma Clad, are proven to extend component life and boost productivity for our clients.”
Kennametal’s exhibit will also feature carbide cages, seats, gates, and plug stems, all designed to maximize uptime in severe service applications. The Conforma Clad technology, including cladded butterfly valve segments, liners, and discs, is particularly notable for its ability to extend the lifespan of components by three to five times in high-temperature and erosive conditions.
Attendees will also have the chance to explore Kennametal’s Stellite products, which include cobalt-based hardfacing alloys available in rods, wires, powders, and electrodes. These materials, with over a century of proven performance, are favored across various industries for their effectiveness in wear, heat, and corrosion applications.
