KEMPPI, a Finland based global major in welding technology, signed an MoU with the Government ITI, Cuttack, on 9 June 2020 to set up an advanced welding lab in ITI Cuttack. Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra, Managing Director, KEMPPI South East Asia & India, and DTET, Odisha signed the MoU through video conferencing, informed Dr. Hrusikesh Mohanty, Principal of ITI Cuttack.
KEMPPI in association with Government ITI Cuttack will develop and advance welding lab with Robotic welding. The facilities at the lab will expose the students to the latest technologies relevant to the industries. KEMPPI INDIA will provide a web-based MIS tool to monitor the training program under this MoU.
KEMPPI has been futuristic and a pioneer in the field of welding, be it introducing robotic welding or integrating the concept of Industry 4.0 with welding. With this welding lab, we want to introduce students to the advancements in welding and make them industry-ready with practical knowledge-based learning
