KEC International Secures Transmission & Distribution Orders Worth ₹1,133 Crores

KEC International Ltd, a leading global infrastructure EPC company and part of the RPG Group, has secured new orders totaling ₹1,133 crores for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects in India. The orders include a ±800 kV HVDC transmission line and a 765 kV GIS substation from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), along with a 400 kV Quad transmission line from a private developer.

According to Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd these significant project wins have further strengthened the company’s T&D portfolio in India. He emphasized the importance of the HVDC order, which builds upon the company’s recent achievements in this segment. Mr Kejriwal noted that the growth in energy demand and government focus on expanding renewable energy and transmission infrastructure continue to drive opportunities in the sector. These developments are expected to support the company’s strategic growth trajectory.
