KEC International Secures Orders Worth Rs. 1,236 Crores Across Key Segments

KEC International Ltd., a leading global EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) player and a part of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of new orders totaling Rs. 1,236 crores across its various business segments. KEC International has secured significant Transmission & Distribution (T&D) orders in both India and the Middle East. In the Middle East, the company has won contracts for the construction of transmission lines and substations in the UAE and Kuwait, further expanding its presence in the region. These projects reflect KEC’s growing footprint and capabilities in the international T&D market.

Additionally, in India, KEC has been awarded a substation project from a private player under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) model. This order strengthens the company’s position in India’s competitive infrastructure market, highlighting its ability to deliver critical power infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally.

The company has secured a major residential project from a prominent private developer in Western India, expanding its footprint in the real estate sector. KEC has received an order in the high-profile Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment under the ‘Kavach’ safety system in India. The company has bagged orders for the supply of various types of cables both in India and internationally.

Commenting on the new wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & CEO of KEC International Ltd., stated: “We are pleased with these new order wins, particularly in the substation domain, which has strengthened our position in both Indian and international markets. The UAE substation order significantly enhances our presence in the Middle East. Our Civil business continues to grow, with a new project from a respected real estate developer. These new orders bring our total order intake for FY25 to a record Rs. 24,600 crores, reflecting a strong 36% growth compared to last year.”
