KEC International Ltd, a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company and part of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of new orders totaling Rs 2,518 crores across its diverse business verticals, reinforcing its strong market position and execution capabilities. In the Civil segment, the company has achieved a major milestone by securing its largest-ever commercial real estate project. Awarded by a prominent real estate developer in Western India, this project marks a significant addition to KEC’s portfolio and reflects its growing expertise in large-scale urban infrastructure development.
The Transportation business has further strengthened its presence in India’s railway modernization initiatives by securing a project under a joint venture in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment, part of the indigenous ‘Kavach’ initiative. This project underscores KEC’s continued contribution to enhancing railway safety through advanced technology deployment.
In the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment, the company has secured multiple international orders. These include transmission line projects spanning 400 kV, 132 kV, and 66 kV capacities in Africa, as well as additional contracts for transmission lines and substations in other global markets. The company has also received orders for the supply of towers in Europe and the Americas, along with hardware and pole supply contracts in the Americas, reflecting its diversified global footprint. The Cables and Conductors business has secured orders for the supply of a wide range of products in both domestic and international markets, further strengthening its position in this segment.
Commenting on the developments, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO, stated that the order wins reflect strong demand across all business segments. He highlighted the Civil business milestone as a key achievement and noted the company’s continued momentum in transportation and international T&D markets. He also pointed to improving demand trends in Africa as a positive indicator for future growth.
