KEC International Ltd, a prominent player in infrastructure development, announced on November 29 that it has secured orders worth ₹1,040 crore in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business from international markets. These include contracts for supplying towers, hardware, and poles to clients in the Americas, alongside the construction of 220 kV transmission lines in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
Commenting on the milestone, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International, stated, “These new orders highlight the strong momentum in our T&D business. The CIS project has further cemented our presence in this market, while multiple wins by our subsidiary, SAE Towers, in the USA, Mexico, and Brazil, demonstrate robust growth in the Americas. With these orders, our year-to-date intake now exceeds ₹17,300 crore, marking an impressive 75% growth compared to last year.”
