Kamdhenu Limited announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting strong profitability growth, improved margins, and continued expansion across its franchise-led business operations. The Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of Rs  0.40 per equity share, representing 40 percent of the face value of Rs 1 each, subject to shareholder approval.

The company delivered another year of steady operational performance, supported by increasing demand for branded steel products and consistent growth across its franchise network. Kamdhenu’s royalty income rose 25 percent year-on-year to Rs 175 crore during FY26, significantly outpacing overall business growth. The contribution of royalty income to total revenue increased to 22.9 percent from 18.6 percent in FY25, reflecting a sharp improvement of 430 basis points.

The growth was driven by stronger throughput across franchise facilities and expanding market reach in key regions. Franchisee volumes during the year increased 10 percent year-on-year to 37.9 lakh metric tonnes, supported by higher branded product sales and deeper penetration in retail markets. Kamdhenu’s brand sales turnover reached an all-time high of nearly Rs 23,000 crore during FY26, underlining the growing acceptance of branded TMT bars among consumers and construction players. The company stated that its asset-light franchise-led business model continues to enhance operational scalability while maintaining capital efficiency.

Revenue from operations for FY26 stood at Rs 763 crore, registering a growth of 2 percent compared to the previous financial year. Profit Before Tax increased 31 percent year-on-year to Rs 106 crore, while the PBT margin improved to 13.8 percent, expanding by 300 basis points over FY25. Profit After Tax for the year rose 29 percent to Rs 78 crore.

Commenting on the performance, Satish Kumar Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director Kamdhenu said the company’s sustained growth reflects the strength of its franchise ecosystem, expanding brand presence, and disciplined execution strategy. He added that operational efficiency, prudent capital allocation, and the company’s debt-free balance sheet continue to support healthy financial performance and long-term value creation.

Looking ahead, Kamdhenu remains optimistic about growth prospects for the steel and construction sectors, driven by ongoing investments in infrastructure, housing, urban development, and public capital expenditure initiatives across India. The company believes its extensive franchise network, strong brand equity, and scalable business structure position it well to capitalise on rising demand for quality construction materials and deliver sustainable growth in the years ahead.
