Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), a fully owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited, is participating in the Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2025 with a strong display of its homegrown military platforms. As a leader in advanced land-based weapon systems, KSSL continues to demonstrate its role in shaping global defence manufacturing.

At the centre of KSSL’s exhibit are its flagship platforms—the Garuda 105 and the MArG 45 series. The Garuda 105 is a lightweight 105mm/37 calibre mounted gun system, designed for quick deployment in difficult terrain and high-altitude zones. Its ability to reposition rapidly makes it ideal for mobile operations. The MArG 45 series, featuring 155mm mounted gun systems in both 39 and 45 calibre variants, reflects India’s engineering strengths in high-performance, mobile artillery solutions.

KSSL’s participation in Indo Defence Expo 2025 is seen as a move to deepen defence cooperation between India and Indonesia. As the region’s largest defence trade event, the Expo opens up opportunities for industrial partnerships and export growth—further supporting the strategic relationship between the two countries. By showcasing its range of advanced, locally developed systems, KSSL is not only presenting India’s growing defence capabilities but also reinforcing the broader national goal of expanding indigenous solutions in international markets.

Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL) is the defence arm of Bharat Forge Limited and part of the Kalyani Group. With over five decades of experience in design, metallurgy, and advanced manufacturing, the Group has become a key contributor to India’s defence sector through its network of specialised units across the country.
