Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd, is set to enter into a collaboration with leading U.S. defense companies AM General and Mandus Group LLC to jointly develop and manufacture next-generation artillery gun platforms. This partnership aims to meet the evolving needs of modern armies, which require advanced light artillery systems that offer improved firepower, precision, tactical mobility, and enhanced command and control capabilities.
The new artillery platforms will include 105mm and 155mm systems designed for high mobility, durability, and adaptability across all terrains and weather conditions. These platforms will feature cutting-edge technology that ensures greater lethality, transportability, and reduced crew size due to streamlined logistics requirements. The lightweight, modular designs will provide superior firepower while maintaining operational efficiency in various combat scenarios.
